School uniform
Our school colours are black, white and yellow. Uniform can be purchased via the school or alternatively parents/carers can buy from other retailers as long as the clothing reflects the school colour expectations. The school PE t-shirt is the only item requiring school branding and this can be purchased from the uniform shop. For all other items, parents/carers can purchase from retailers of their own choice. The school has a termly “pre-loved” uniform shop where parents can also purchase uniform.
You can purchase uniform using the Parentmail App. You do this by going to the payments section and at the bottom of the screen you will see shop, click on the shopping basket icon to find the uniform items listed., you then select your purchases and check out.
Your order will then be processed in the usual way.

School uniform list:
- Plain black trousers
- White shirt/blouse or polo shirt (or sunshine yellow polo shirt) (blouse must reach waistband)
- Nelmes yellow or black cardigan/sweatshirt
- Plain black jumper/cardigan/sweatshirt
- Black Shoes (low heels)– must not be trainers, boots, converses or other canvas shoes
- Black shorts (not PE or football shorts)
- Black, grey socks or white socks, white or black opaque tights
- Black school skirt or pinafore (knee-length)
- Yellow and white school summer dress (stripes or checks)
- White cardigan White sandals – closed toe
PE
- Kit Black shorts
- White Nelmes Logo T-shirt
- Plain black tracksuit or Nelmes tracksuit
- Plimsolls
Swimming Kit (Juniors only)
- Swimming trunks (not shorts) or Swimming costume (not two-piece)
- Swimming hat
Reminders:
Socks must be worn, no jeans, jogging bottoms or leggings
Clothing must not have logos or designs other than the Nelmes name
Buying Uniform using the IRIS Parentmail App
